I am Asser Zaytoun, originally from Egypt and based in Morges, Switzerland. I turn raw data into clear, decision-ready insights, with training from the EPFL Extension School and practical experience in R, SQL, statistics, APIs, data cleaning, visualization, and reporting.
I also design, build, and rebrand modern multilingual websites using AI-assisted development — from new builds to full visual rebrands for existing businesses — with several projects already delivered. My ten years of experience in service and operations help me create digital solutions that are practical, business-focused, and aligned with real user needs.
I clean, explore, visualise, and report on real data — and explain what it means in plain language. Alongside analysis, I build practical digital tools with careful UI and UX. My years in entertainment, service, and operations give me something data skills alone cannot: I read people well, stay calm under pressure, and never lose sight of the business question behind the numbers.

EPFL Extension School — applied data science. Hands-on projects in R, SQL, web scraping, APIs, statistics, and data visualisation.
With ten years of experience in entertainment, alongside a strong background in hospitality and operations, I have developed the ability to understand people, remain dependable under pressure, and deliver consistent results every day.
Two sides, one goal: I turn raw data into answers people can act on — import, clean, analyse, visualise — and I build clean, responsive interfaces that make those answers easy to use.

I work through the full data cycle — import, clean, explore, model, communicate — turning messy real-world data into findings people can trust.
I use AI as a working tool: integrating language models into projects and workflows to automate steps, draft content, and speed up analysis — while keeping quality under my control.
I know the core ideas — training, validation, overfitting — and apply simple models honestly: clear about what the data can support and what it cannot.
I design charts that answer a question at a glance — the right visual form in ggplot2 or a BI tool, with everything that distracts from the message cut away.
I structure, store, and document data so it stays accurate and usable — from clean spreadsheets to relational SQL databases.
I test claims against their evidence — reading reports and data critically to catch weak arguments, hidden assumptions, and missing context before they become bad decisions.
I version my projects with Git and GitHub — tracked changes, clean history, and published repositories ready to share.
I work in notebooks to combine code, results, and explanation in one reproducible document — the way modern data teams share their analysis.
I build responsive, modern websites from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — layout, animation, glass UI, and mobile-first design, no heavy frameworks needed.
When a project needs a server side, I build it: REST APIs in Node.js or Python, SQL and SQLite databases, and clean connections between interface and live data.
I ship complete products fast by pairing solid fundamentals with AI tools — precise prompting, iterative design, and a tight feedback loop from idea to working product.
SEO is the work that decides whether a site is found at all. I build pages search engines can actually read and rank — clean HTML structure, fast loading, descriptive titles and metadata, sitemaps, and sensible internal links. The goal is simple: when someone searches for what a business does, that business is the answer they find.
GEO is SEO for the AI era. More and more people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI Overviews instead of scrolling through results — so I structure sites the way those models read: clear factual answers, schema markup, an llms.txt file, and content organised to be quoted. The goal is to be the source the AI cites.
